Forever Leave What you Loose

Did you loose weight recently?  Was it the amount you wanted to loose?  Never mind how much if you lost some weight.  Any amount is good if you are overweight or obese.  Do not get discouraged about not attaining the amount you were trying for this time.  The good news is you are still at work getting it done!  You can loose more before the next weigh-in.  You do want to get the weight off as soon as possible and healthy.  You may need a partner to share with to keep your spirits up.  Be sure to communicate with friends or forums to compare methods and successes.  I learn a few bits of information that I had not encountered each time I tune in to one of these.
Be sure to get the right kind of diet for you.  Your needs are personal for you.
Make sure you follow a definite plan for keeping the weight off you have lost.  Reducing the amount of food and drink intake is a necessity, but you may need a healthy snack between meals to prevent overeating at mealtime.  Try fruit or cereal bars.  Cereal bars come with everything from nuts to chocolate mixed in so that they are delicious and they furnish fibre you need every day.  Make sure your snacks are nutritous and not junk food.

Expert Advice on Prevention

One of my favorite authorities on PREVENTIVE LIVING is Dr. Harvey Simon.  He says, "The key to preventive health is prudent living rather than medical technology."  He has 10 commandments for healthy living.  You can find his book, "Staying Well" in the library.  You can also read them in my book,  "Living Temple or Rundown Shack."  These commandment are on page 56.  His book was written before our present recommendations for exercise, but all other 9 items are right on for Preventive Medicine.  Remember my previous tip:  Preventive medicine is rarely a pill/prescription, but something you do.
I would be very interested to know what you do to keep well including diet, exercise, medication or supplements; whatever.  http://www.joyduf.blogspot.com/  How about this for a healthy exercise?
